General Responsibilities

The Project Analyst will work with various levels of Management and Hertz Vendors 

to develop Fleet Services strategies related to various aspects of fleet.  He / She will work directly with the Vendor(s) in negotiating purchases terms and conditions for vehicle Fleet Services.

 

Among activities this position will be responsible for the coordination and completion of all Registration Centralization, some Car Control functions related to in-servicing of the fleet, overseeing all aspects of projects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress of projects. The responsibility includes preparation of reports for upper management regarding status of projects.   A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Develop and implement strategies to lean processes.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of all stakeholders.
  • Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
  • Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with many layers of management internally, externally and within operations
  • Work with teams, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

Candidate must have a minimum 4 year college degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration with applicable work experience.   MBA preferred.  Experience in the auto industry, rental car industry or fleet management is a plus. 

 

Professional Experience:

3 – 5 years experience showing responsibility in the area of Project Management, Process Improvement, Transportation and Logistics, Fleet Management, with cross functional activity between Government Agencies, and / or legal/gov’t consulting within a Global Organization.

Previous experience in Automotive and IT related experience a plus.  Candidate must have strong analytical and program management skills with knowledge in Project Management software as well as Crystal and Access database.  Prefer an individual exposed to large and complex project launchings.
