General Responsibilities

The primary mission of the RM Implementation Support Analyst function will be responsible for working with the Director of RM Implementation in defining best practices in RM processes and reporting on the use and configuration of RMS/Yield Matrix.  This person will also troubleshoot and escalate to IT user reported issues with RMS application. There should also be ongoing coaching and training of RM Analysts on configuration of RMS through weekly/monthly reporting and Q&A.  The RM Implementation Support Analyst will also provide reports and feedback on Analyst RMS performance to RM Directors, VPs and Sr. VP RM Operations.

 

  • Develop and deliver robust reporting covering the following:
  • Revenue Manager Analyst system usage reports.
  • Implementation analytics reports.
  • Configuration settings reports.
  • Recommendations on RMS best practices in driving effective execution.
  • System upgrades and user reported system issues.
  • Support ongoing training sessions with an emphasis on system upgrades and driving improved execution through analytically based decision making and leveraging the RM tools.
  • Troubleshoot user reported issues with IT.
  • Maintenance of CMS/Revenue Management department Intranet site, coordinating reporting and training materials in a user friendly and useful format.
  • Communication of scheduled and unscheduled RMS outages.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • 4-year college degree in business or revenue management related field.

Professional Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a revenue management capacity.
  • Experience executing deliverables within a complex, evolving environment.
  • Proven ability to develop business partnerships.
  • Process innovation and development; management via KPIs, business process redesign.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and provide constructive feedback to indirect reports.

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of the pricing and market concepts in Revenue Management.
  • Knowledge of RMS and PROS Revenue Management system to include backend support a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Strong follow through and follow up abilities.
  • Extremely analytical.
  • Strong Leadership skills and Partnership with IT and vendors to include PROS.
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, intranet web design, and basic SQL knowledge. Revenue management and pricing systems knowledge is essential.

  • Strong skills in project management.
